Phoenix faces his greatest challange yet: finding the thief who stole Maya's ultra rare Steel Samurai special addition DVD!
Not that he wants to but Maya goes as far as being a client and hiring him to do his job to bring the criminal to justice... even though he's a lawyer and not a cop.
The thief turns out to be Edgeworth. He spotted the DVD and couldn't help but borrow it for an hour, planning on returning it when he finished watching it without anyone being none the wiser. An hour was more than enough time for Maya to notice it's missing....

When Ema happily collects her winnings from her friends and co-workers, she decides that they at least deserve to know how she pulled it off.
After all, the story of how she managed to seduce the Chief Prosecutor, as proven by a photo she takes in the morning of the pair of them in bed together, must be a damn good one.
Extra points for this resulting in an actual lasting relationship.
