Apollo x anyone I haven't seen him paired with. Played seriously. Take the any pairing you can think of and make it work. Wocky/Apollo goofy fluff? Hella. Gant/Apollo mindfuck badwrong? Splendid. Apollo/Angel Starr? Haven't seen that before, let's go for it! Apollo/Oldbag? I'd read that just to see how you pull it off!
Noncon is a-okay! I think, though, it'd be an interesting challenge to make Apollo consent to something/one he'd reasonably object to (falling in love with Ga'ran? Finding Larry Butz's antics adorable?)

Way back before the Gavinners got going, possibly working under a pseudonym or in a way that for some reason was barely documented, Klavier Gavin had a "phase" of some sort. It can be whatever you want. The point is that even a man who puts Gs on his shoes and says "Achtung Baby!" is embarrassed by it. One, because he's moved onto other things. Two, he was young and even though he was a legal prodigy, he was not immune to writing songs that would make him cringe as an adult, as that is the Human Condition: Creative Edition.
It's a good thing he managed to keep it off his record and purge it from his memory, because he haaaaaates anything he did from that period and pretends it never happened. Remembering anything about that time just makes his skin crawl. Did he really come up with that cheesy, faux-deep wordplay? Was that supposed to be a harmony? How did he even think he had a chance before getting voice training?
However, he can't burn all the copies and erase it from history in a digital age, and Apollo, either back in the day or now, listened to the Proto-Gavin's work and ABSOLUTELY AND UNIRONICALLY LOVED IT.
What will Klavier, who has been secretly desperate to find the thing that will move Herr Forhead's heart, do now, now that he knows that the only non-collaborative thing he's ever created that Apollo actually doesn't hate is the stuff he could set fire to if sound was flammable? Does he sit there internally screaming as Apollo listens to his old work, debating whether or not he wants to come clean about his past?

Plum Kitaki and Norma DePlume get to know each other over the baked goods the Kitaki family sells, the writer returning again and again. They become friends. Norma compliments that Plum has an amazing voice - and how she wields her sword! Plum admires Norma's grace and fashion sense, and she likes how passionate she is about writing.
Winfred is happy that Plum is finding more friends. That still isn't easy, with the Kitaki's lingering criminal reputation, but Norma isn't intimidated by that. And if the two women happen to be flirting? So what? It makes Plum happy, and she's open towards him about her attraction to Norma.

The apocalypse has occurred and Phoenix and co. are on the run from zombies and like.
Amazingly, Phoenix becomes the leader - and a damn good one too - making sure shelter and food supplies are secured for all. Simon is a terrific zombie killing machine, Edgeworth is the strategist, Athena uses her skills to keep sanity and spirits up, etc.
Looking for something more fun than angsty, like the reason Phoenix made it as a leader because of all the zombie games he played in college. (though if one wants to make it serious, no major character death pls)
