Phoenix as Steve, Miles as Bucky, slash or gen is fine, as long as the focus is on them.
I just have feels about Phoenix the super soldier with a heart of gold who stands up for what's right, and Miles who's taken away by von Karma for experimentation and brainwashing until he can't remember who he was anymore, but starts to break the conditioning when he meets his childhood friend again.

Not my prompt, but I'm surprised nobody filled it! This is so good!
Edgeworth accidently stumbles upon a wedding ring with his name and Phoenix's engraved on it and quickly realizes that Phoenix plans to propose to him.
He decides to pretend he didn't see anything and goes on with his life, quietly waiting for Phoenix to pop the question... if he ever does. Days go by and Edgeworth becomes agitated. He always expects it to happen at any given moment; in a fancy resturant, a walk in the moonlit park, a night of snuggling. Nothing.
Phoenix becomes confused whenever he tries to ask Edgeworth a question or bends down on one knee to tie he shoes, that Edgeworth keeps shouting "Yes".
When Phoenix does propose to him it's when Edgeworth actually doesn't expect it... in court.
