Okay, so the recent Anime Episodes have had me wanting this.
Phoenix fails to get Engarde acquitted on the first day, so De Killer carries out his promise – he leaves Maya to starve in that cellar. He blocks all the exits so that there's no way on earth she can find her way out, and for some reason or other the police are taking a really long time to locate her. (I know the cellar is in Engarde's own home, but, c'mon, it's not like the police are all that competent... ahem)
And Maya is dehydrated and slowly starving. As channeling takes up a large amount of energy, she's too weak to channel Mia. And no matter how much she pushes at the door, it won't budge. She feels like she's going to die for sure.
But Maya's smart. She notices all the wine being kept in the walls (it's a wine cellar, after all) and once she's desperate, she starts drinking that to survive.
What I'd really love to see are Maya's desperate attempts to survive in that cellar.
